From August 6th to 10th, a visiting group with 37 students and a leading professor from the Institute of Logistics Management of Inha University in South Korea attended summer camp activities organized by Ocean College.
On August 6th, at the Zhoushan Campus, Professor Lee Taewoo, Director of Maritime Logistics and Free Trade Islands Research Center of Zhejiang University, presided over the opening ceremony. In the following two days, Professor Lee Taewoo, Dr. Ye Guanqiong, Dr. Feng Xuehao, and Professor Yang Zhongzhen of Ningbo University gave lectures to the summer camp participants, and discussed the topics under the “Belt and Road Initiative” on East Asia logistics interconnection, shipping economy, maritime economy and port logistics development, as well as marine ecological environment protection.
During the period, the summer camp participants also visited Zhoushan City Exhibition Hall, Zhoushan Port, Zhoushan Free Trade Zone, and Hikvision Company, etc.
