     Professor Jihong Chen is Distinguished Professor at Shenzhen University, Shenzhen, China. He was Professor and Chair of Management Department at Shanghai Maritime University, Shanghai, China. His research expertise includes port and shipping management, maritime logistics and management, ocean and maritime environmental governance, ocean strategy and policy. He has published more than 150 academic papers, including publications on Nature, Transportation Research, Marine Policy, Transport Policy, Ocean Engineering, Ocean & Coastal Management, Marine Pollution Bulletin and Journal of Navigation. He has conducted more than 80 international, national, provincial and other marine projects, and has won more than 20 awards from the government, industry associations, maritime departments, etc.

    He serves as a Editor-in-chief of Ocean and Coastal Management (OCMA), an associate editor of Regional Studied in Marine Science (RSMA), and editorial board member for several other journals. He is an expert member or scholar of many marine academic institutions and maritime enterprises.
