Prof. Dr. Liang Chengji is currently a Professor and Director of the Underground Logistics Technology Research Center of Shanghai Maritime University. She gained her bachelor degree and master degree of applied mathematics in 1992,1995 and the doctor degree of engineering mechanics in 1998 in Dalian University of Technology. As a visiting scholar, she conducted academic exchanges at Waseda University in Japan, the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, and the University of Houston in the United States. Dr. Liang's main research and teaching areas are port logistics system operation planning and optimization, automated container terminal process optimization and urban underground container logistics, and research on green port energy transformation. In 2011 and 2015, she received two general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and two key projects of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission in 2016. Dr. Liang is leading the team to work closely with Shanghai Port to complete several projects. She is also a passionate mentor currently supervising 30 research students including 6 PhD candidates. She has widely published in international journals, including CIE, APPLIED ENERGY, etc. She is the guest editor of the top international journal Computers & Industrial Engineering (C&IE). Dr. Liang is the recipient of several awards, including the second prize of the Port Association Science and Technology Progress Award, and the second prize of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing Science and Technology Progress Award.
