Professor Paul Tae-woo Lee was invited to the FBM Distinguished Scholar Lecture of Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College

Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC) was jointly founded by Beijing Normal University (BNU) and Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). UIC is the first full-scale cooperation in higher education between the mainland China and Hong Kong, and the first modern college in the mainland China that upholds a liberal arts education, situated in Zhuhai city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

    Professor Lee was invited to their FBM Distinguished Scholar Lecture on 22 November 2022 and addressed a speech titled “Strategic management value of Global Logistics Distribution Centers along the Belt and Road in the post-COVID-19 era”. His speech attempted to explore a new development direction or approach and momentum of the BRI in the transitional period toward the post-COVID-19 era from the Chinese economic perspective, focusing on the global logistics distribution centers (LDCs) proposed along the Belt and Road. In so doing, the managerial, strategic and economic value of the /LDCs is discussed from the Chinese perspective of international business and global supply chains.
