In a recent global research impact assessment jointly published by Elsevier BV and Stanford University, 19 scholars from the Ocean College at Zhejiang University were ranked among the worlds top 2% of scientists. Notably, Professor Kevin X. Li from our center has been included in this prestigious list.

  • Professor Kevin X. Li: In the field of Logistics & Transportation, Professor Li ranks 288th (top 1.00%) on the annual impact list excluding self-citations, and 283rd (top 0.98%) when including self-citations.

Scopus, the worlds largest abstract and citation database, has developed a publicly accessible resource of top-cited scientists, providing standardized metrics such as citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, authorship position citations, and a composite indicator (c-score). Separate datasets are available for both career-long and single-year impact. These metrics are presented with and without self-citations, and include the ratio of citations to citing papers. The most recent iteration also incorporates data on retracted papers from the Retraction Watch database, as well as citations to and from those retracted papers.
